Adults taking a unique antioxidant that specifically targets cellular powerhouses, or mitochondria, reversed aging in see aging of their blood vessels reverse by the equivalent of 15 to 20 years within six weeks, according to new research at Colorado University.



While brain functioning, memory and other cognitive abilities usually decline with age, eating one serving of leafy green vegetables a day may aid in preserving memory and thinking skills as a person grows older, according to a study by researchers at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago.





Physical exercise has an anti-aging effect on the brain — an area that controls memory, learning and balance. A new study, comparing different forms of exercise — dancing and endurance training — undertaken by senior volunteers for eighteen months, found both can help to keep the brain young, but dancing provided additional benefit.
