A few evenings ago, during an interview on a major media outlet, I heard a noted physician and author state emphatically that people should not take vitamin supplements, because it is myth that they are beneficial! He went on to say there is no scientific proof that taking any type of nutritional supplement improves health, and in fact there are studies which indicate they are dangerous! Vitamin D3 is More Potent than D2

Results of a study published recently in the Journal of Clinical Endocrinology & Metabolism show that Vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol) and is 87% more potent, in terms of elevating increasing the blood levels and also increased the vitamin’s storage level 200-to 300% compared to vitamin D2.
